YES!! When I lived in Australia, the fake snow in all the shop windows just annoyed the hell out of me. In fact most of the Christmas decorations that are put up in Australia are just totally wrong considering that Christmas there is in the Summer. Let Santa wear a red t-shirt & shorts instead of a full woollen suit!
Now I’m in Germany, they also put fake snow in all the shop windows. It still looks tacky, but at least, well, it does snow here, so I’ll forgive them.

I agree with everything except the isolation and indemnification of snowflakes.
Without Christmas I wouldn’t have all my gorgeous snowflake paraphernalia – that is on display year round I might add.

I agree 100% about the snow thing when I was a kid we used to go for a swim Chrissie day I think we should have our own traditions what the hell has snow got to do with Christmas in Australia.
