Look after your beaver, you only have one!

Have you seen the new U tampons ad? No? watch it, we’ll wait.

So are you sitting there with your mouth open a little thinking…is that really what I think it is? *blink*Went searching for the site to hopefully find the ad to show friends. Mmmm found the ad on the site, and some other interesting info.

Did you know? According to the U website, 94% of women use a word other than vagina when referring to their…vagina. Words such as..Va-jayjay (thank Oprah for that one), Map of Tassie, Hilary Muff and of course beaver, among others..they have a whole list of them WTF? Seriously girls, do you really? I must say I am in 6% who do not. Do you all take your beaver out for a manicure too :O Where do they conduct these polls? Approach people in the supermarket to ask them what they call their girly bits?

Kelley, also a great video on there for your mum. You should SO get her one of those puppets for Mother’s Day!

Feeling the love

Have had the worst week (will go into that later, have a super special worst family of the year award for that one tomorrow.)  Had so much planned as usual, nothing got done.

Thought I had best catch up on the awards that all you lovelies have so very kindly given me :)

I got double the love from Meg and Tiff who both gave me the spread the love award. Passing on the love to Kay, Patric and Barbara

I really hope I remembered everyone, I am super sorry if I missed you.

A big thank you girls for the awards :)

I seem to have lost my way with my blogging this year, having trouble juggling and organising my time and trying to figure out where to now in life. Hopefully will get everything back on track soon.

NaBloPoMo, are you crazy!

Yes, I am! I signed up to join this years NaBloPoMo. What on earth is that you ask?

NaBloPoMo is National Blog Posting Month. You have to post to your blog every day for the month of November, that is every single day including weekends and public holidays. Even if your sick or have writers block you just do it!

My track record is not so good. I started the 365 photos challenged on New Years day, and I think I made it 2 weeks. Tried the GYSTG challenged, that ended just as badly. But, this time could be different..or that’s what I keep telling myself!

I am cheating, and posting between here and my other blog, they said I could, I am just ineligible for the prize (did I mention the prizes?) but hey, I can live with that.

As always, there is a group for the Aussie contingent. Don’t think about it, just do it, sign up and come join us. Don’t listen to Jen and her NaBlogPoMo virgin warning :P

LibraryThing

I have recently gotten back into reading after finally getting around to replacing my glasses (it only took 10yrs)

There is a blog widget for everything you could think of, so I thought for sure there would be one to show off what your reading. I then spotted the LibraryThing widget over at Snoskred’s.

It is such a great idea. Join up and add books to your library. You can then tag them for easy sorting, add information such as when you bought it or read it as well as reviews. View other peoples profiles, and see what everyone else is reading and enjoying.

And of course, if your a blog you can use the widget to display your library on your blog, myspace etc (like mine over there–>)..cool no?

LibraryThing is a must have for book lovers. I have only just joined, and added what I have read in the last few weeks. If you join up, add me as a friend, would love to see what everyone else is reading.
