Spring is here, and most of us are looking to shed the…ahh…insulating layers we put on over winter  So it is Bloggest Loser Challenge time again.

You should join us!! Now, I’m not saying you need to lose weight..you look awesome just the way you are. But it will be fun.

Quick run down. Challenge runs for 12 weeks. We have a Daily Burn Challenge where all the number business happens, as well as a private facebook group for motivation and support. Weighins on Sunday (you don’t have to tell people how much you weigh if you don’t want to…just weight lost every week) We should have a prize this time guys?!

I have lost count how many times we have done these. I think we did the first one 3yrs ago, which I won. But has been a bit of a piss poor effort in the challenges since then. They clearly aren’t working for me. In fact DailyBurn says I am the biggest I have ever been since we started all this..awesome!

MsFifikins I must say has done a great job, actually losing weight when we aren’t on a challenge and not putting it back on like..me. Have seen your daily pics on flickr..you are looking fabulous woman!

So, this week in preparation for the challenge, I have canceled my gym membership. Well, it was before I knew we were doing it. It’s a complete waste on money since they cancelled all the good spin classes

Besides, we pretty much have full gym at home anyway.

Treadmill, Smiths machine and other weights stuff, spin bike (tho I now know why it was so cheap. A little dangerous for your shins on the hills) Not to mention access to a whole range of weight loss supplements from work. And 2 crazy bulldogs that need walking.

Even bought myself a fancy new heart rate monitor for extra motivation.

So, really..I should have no excuse, right?. Everything is right there. Just get into it. I KNOW what needs to be done. JUST.DO.IT!

It seems the more times I try and fail at this thing, the harder it gets. I think the motivation has run dry.

Sometimes I wonder if it would just be easier to give up and resign myself to the fact that I am fat and there is nothing I can do about it. But then you have the days when you don’t want to leave the house. You don’t want to go out for because you know you will be the biggest there, and you think everyone will be judging the fat chick.

It gets you down, really down. Every.single.day.

But why can’t I just fix it? If I hate it so much.

I’m a sucker for the before and after pic, I love them. Surely if these people can, I can. What is their secret. They tell you about their diet and exercise, but why do they never share that secret thing that starts it all. That  one thing that drives you through to get the job done. I haven’t found it yet…I don’t even know if I have it. Am I just too lazy?

So, we’ll try…again. Try a little harder than the last few times and see how we go..I guess. I sound convincing, right?
