Sadly, I have decided to close down Blogchicks.
Although I still believe in the wonderful list and community that I once created. Something where everyone was welcome no matter your niche. The stress and disappointment of trying to find someone to help program/code a new list was just too much, and I have decided for my own sanity to walk away. The pangs of guilt every time I got an email from an excited blogger asking to be added to the list.
Promised by so many that they would help, only to be let down. Lost a lot of money to a lovely indian coder named Bill.
Thank you to everyone for their support over the years. I am going to keep a copy of the list here for posterity, and it still gives out some nice traffic for a lot of the bloggers.
I am slowly trying to get back to my blogging happy place. Back to basics, before all the ads and contracts and stress. I have missed it. I am not cut out for all this grown up blogging.

Ah Leigh, sometimes it’s all just too hard, isn’t it? Good luck with getting your mojo back.
hugs, remember the best bits and walk away with a smile!
Aww, sorry to hear that you closed it down. That list was one of the first I added my Mummified Times Five blog to when I first started blogging. Ah, the memories
x
That sucks. But it’s much better for you to realise when it’s time to walk away than to continually stress over something. Another step towards the happy place!
Best decision for you. Take a breather, and blog for you.

Awww, sad it’s closed down but understandable.
I too am struggling to get back to my bloggy happy place. I know we can do it!
What a shame but I know the pressure of wanting to keep something going but in the end it just cant happen. It was great while it lasted and maybe you’ll get back to it later, or at least get help doing it.
My forum is still going strong. Not many people know it was you who set it up for me and that’s something I silently thank you for often. Take care, love.
Thanks everyone
Was sad to hit publish on this post, even though it has been coming for months.
Thank you for your sweet words Rhonda, and you are right..it may not be for ever.
I don’t blame you one little bit. I hope you enjoy the extra time on your hands; have fun, enjoy life and be happy!
Take care and best wishes,
Natasha.
Thanks for doing the list in the first place. I can appreciate why you’re walking away.
RIP Blogchicks
Oh, I just discovered the list! But its great your keeping a copy, going to take a while to go through it anyways
Sanity First!
Sorry to hear this and I’m sorry that you had such a hard time. Wishing you all the best for the future.
I always tell myself that blogging is supposed to be fun for me… when it’s not fun I know I am doing something wrong. Onwards, upwards and away to happier places!
