Kids and cats and.....stuff
I was a Ben & Jerry’s virgin..*gasp* yes..it is true. Living all the way out here (Western Sydney) we don’t get all those special goodies. While I must admit I am not a huge ice cream fan..boring old vanilla for me, when I was given the chance to try out some of the new pint flavours last week, I was a little excited.
If owning animals is worth it? Do the years of joy and love really make up for what comes at the end, having to say goodbye?
Today I’m not sure I can answer that. After having to make the hard decision to say good bye yet again, for the 2nd time this year…
10yrs….it doesn’t seem like nearly long enough? It is the longest we have ever had an animal (unless you count Hayden I guess) Why does it seem none of ours live to a ripe old age like other peoples..what are we doing wrong?

I think it’s safe to say we are very much team cat here at That’s Noice. Sure, dogs are great too..but nothing beats a kitteh..or 5.
But I think our feline family can be a little left out when it comes to shopping, especially in Australia. So many sites and products for dogs…what about the cats!
I recently came across Pampered Cats Playground and immediately placed an order. They have a great range of everything you need for your cats, but my favourite section was the toys.

Da Bird, This is the best cat toy EVER (well, apart from bugs and carboard boxes) It is a feather attachment on the end of a long stick that you wave about. Doesn’t sounds too exciting, does it? But when you move the feathers, they spin and ‘fly’ looking and sounding a bit like a real bird. We have had quite a few of these over the years. If you aren’t careful in hiding it, they will find it and trash it. I have had trouble finding them, due to the issues with feathers and Customs. Great price at $14, plus you can buy a bunch of different attachments for $5.
Dr Noys Swizzle Stick Another thing on a stick that induces aerial acrobatics, and sometimes some growling.
