My Place & Yours..Where do you blog?

This weeks theme for My place & yours over at Hello Owl was chosen by Talia and is…Where do you blog?

For me, this is pretty much it. The spaces on either side a generally filled with a meezer or 3.

I don’t really have a desk. Well, technically I do. I really wanted a roll top desk, and I got one. But it is the general dumping ground for all my stuffs, there isn’t really room for anything, let alone be able to sit there. I don’t have a desktop puter, just the laptops, so there is no real need for a desk.

I also blog from bed sometimes, too hard to take a pic of that :P

So, Where do you blog? Join in at My place & yours

Oscar the paddle boarding meezer

Of course, I already knew meezers were awesome, but check out Oscar, the paddle boarding meezer!

Every morning for the last month, 14-year-old Oscar wakes at 6am and follows his dad, Rob Van Wegan, down to the edge of the Noosa Waters canal and makes himself comfortable on the paddle board. Check out the full story and more pics
How cute is he, and he looks like he is absolutely loving it, check out the possum tail LOL

Customise your camera strap

Highkey has a great range of funky camera straps, you can even have one custom made with your own logo or design.

These look great!  Nice wide band, with durable woven fabric on the front and a full backing of “gecko grip” rubber on the back, so there is little chance for your precious camera to slip off your shoulder.

Choose from their range of designs, priced from $29.95US (without postage starting at only $5US to Australia)

Or you can download the template and make your own design for $34.95US

These would make a great gift for photography loving friends and family…or yourself ;)

Highkey, check them out.

Noice-ities

Have you checked out our fun new weekly challenge over at That’s Noice! We’d love to get a chance to find out what’s noice in your world each week.

We have been wanting to do this for awhile, but have had trouble coming up with a name. Rah came up with Noice-ities, but we were trying to avoid it…cause, well… it looks like noice tits right…and we love you and all..but we don’t want to see your tits. And then you go sticking the word on our logo, and now it looks like a big nipple. Maybe it’s just me.

Annnyway, back to the challenge. This week rah has asked..

If skill/talent was no object, what do you want to make?

Good to know that skill and talent are no object because I have none of those :P

I hate crafty bloggers, I really do. They are EVERYWHERE you can’t avoid them, flaunting their fabulous creations and awesome talents all over the interwebs…it’s no fair…SO jealous ;) (no really, I do love you)

Lots of talents I wished I had, but I think sewing would be the main one. I have given it a try, but I hate sucking at stuff, so without any real clue, I have given up pretty quickly.

So if I was awesome with a sewing machine, what would I make. Hmm..way to hard to pick one thing.

I’d love to be able to make softies. I have attempted a sock monkey in the past, but like everything else..never finished it.

I’d also love to make bags, totes, messengers in lots of cute fabric.

Oh, and quilts, blame Fern and all her recent awesome quilts.

The list could do on, I really need a craft talent transplant..anyone know where I can get one? Poor deprived child I am, my mummy ever taught me these things.

Rah and I are looking at attending some of The Craft Room classes that Notebook magazine are running in Sydney. We have already booked in with Liz to do the cupcake decorating, that was a given. But the other ones look really great too.

So what about you, jump on over to That’s Noice and join in!!
