I WANT a pony dammit!

Not too much to ask do you think? It’s not even for me..I am happy to wait a few more years for a new horse.

The last few years just before Christmas the nagging has started. What kid wouldn’t want a pony for Christmas?? Every kids needs a pony!

Saves the hassle of trying to work out what to buy them, or spend crap loads on shit they won’t play with. The older they get the better the idea is, but he isn’t buying it..yet. I think next year will be the year. And he knows if I was 100% serious..no is not an option :P

I have had a few horses over the year, we have had some together and apart from our miniature pony trying to mount him every time he went into the backyard..he loved them too.

I was fine with it all till I came across this picture of Florence (she looks a lot like my last horse Red, but without the blaze) on cuteoverload, isn’t she just beautiful. I then discovered there were more. I want a wig wearing pony and or horse! Why hasn’t someone thought of this before? They already have kitty wigs.

These pictures are sofa king awesome!! They are from photographer Julian Wolkenstein check out his site, some amazing pictures there and he is Aussie based! I am so in love with these horse portraits. The lighting is just beautiful…and the hoses *sigh*

So that is top of the Christmas list for next year, I guess I shouldn’t be too greedy and make him buy me a house and a wig wearin’ pony :P I have been a good girl tho Santa..honest!



Speaking of wants, stopped by to comment over at rah’s blog and spotted this banner she has made LOL..she’s a bit keen you think? Playing dress ups at the hospital

dont we look pretty!Blogging is so handy for not having to repeat a story a cajillion times for everyone that asks :P (thank you to everyone that has asked how she went :) )
Yesterday Katelyn had an appointment at Westmead to have some dental surgery.

I was very nervous about the fasting, this kid is food obsessed like you would not believe. I was expecting lots of tears all day when she could not eat more than a light breakfast and nothing else after 6:30am. Not once did she mention that she was hungry!

She wasn’t nervous at all, was actually excited. I don’t think she really understood what was going to happen. Must be nice to not terrified of going to the dentist like the rest of us.

I was expecting a huge wait when we got there, but it wasn’t too bad. There were 4 other kids that were being done on the afternoon list. We checked in last, so I thought we would be there for hours.

Waited about an hour and a half to be admitted. We got dressed in our super attractive gowns and taken through to a bed. 3 of the other kids were waiting to go in, the anaesthetist was trying to get them to take a pre med but none were keen. She was getting a bit annoyed by having to wait. I said Katelyn loves drugs, she would be happy to take it LOL She downed the the orange kids panadol and we were off…the other mothers were not so pleased by our queue jumping *hehe*Katie

It was all over in about 45mins. They give you a pager like that use to let you know your meals ready to tell you know when they are done LOL.

She flipped out when she woke up in recovery and cried intermittently for 30mins. OMG I thought she would never shut up. I run out of caring mother patients after about 3mins of non stop crying. They wanted her to take some more pandol but she was now refusing..the more they offered the more she screamed. I tried bribing her with the ipod..but she screamed. Wishing at this point I had sent Daddy to do this job instead. She listened to some Miley Cyrus for a bit and she calmed down a little.

When they came and said she could get dressed and come and eat some jelly the eyes lit up and that was it. She inhaled the jelly, and took the pandol and hasn’t cried since. Perhaps she was only screaming cause she was starving *hehe*

She pigged out on dinner last night, eating a bunch of cold meat and pasta. She has sat an eaten a litre of Jelly this morning and hasn’t stopped bloody talking all day. Think she will be find to go to school tomorrow ;)

Top 100 Australian Women Bloggers list update

So yes, I have been a bit slack…sorry girls :(

I’ll be honest I was feeling a little despondent with the list. We all know it’s a little inaccurate but its the best we have right now. Every month so many great ladies excitedly email me their blogs to share with everyone, and most of them I can’t add to the list.

So I have came up with a compromise, we can still have the list. But now also an Australian Women Bloggers Directory… so this way no one really misses out. So go forth, add your blogs no matter what your rank so everyone can come check you out!

Hopefully that will make up for my slack arsedness… a little. As well as lots of new blogs added to the list this month.

This month we also welcome a sponsor for the list and directory, you may have heard about them recently.

Humphrey now doing home security?

Is there something I missed, was this in an issue of Better homes and gardens or something? New decorating trend or is poor old Humphrey suppose to be that scary?

First came across this house a few months ago when walking the kids to their new school. I saw it, and thought..that must be some sort of joke. Wishing I’d gotten a pic cause It wouldn’t be there went I went back. But no..everyday I drive past it’s still there. It drives me nuts..I just want to know WHY?

I’m not great at outdoor photography, especially trying to take a pic of someone’s houses..feels so naughty *hehe* taken me this long to get one. Don’t know how the foodies do it…wiping out there cameras and snapping away in the middle of a restaurant LOL.

So here we have, the Humphrey house. You might need to bigify it. You can’t really make out the picture…take my word for it..they are all the same picture of Humphrey! On every single window there is a picture of Humphrey taped to the inside…EVERY WINDOW!! What the farkity??

There are some weird and scary people out there o.O
